Biography

Daniele Patton is a drummer from Trento, Italy, born in 1994. 

He is doing his second master degree in jazz drums at the Sibelius Academy of Music in
Helsinki (University of the Arts). 

He is a NOMAZZ (Nordic Master in Jazz) alumni and did his Bachelor at the Conservatory
F.A. Bonporti in Trento.
Has been studying with musicians such: Tim Hagans, Jukkis Uotila, Jussi Lehtonen, Jussi
Kannaste, Maxx Furian, Stefano Bagnoli, Giorgio Zanier, Vittorio Marinoni, Carlo Canevali,
Jesper Bodilsen, Bruce Becker, Reinaldo Santiago, Kim Plainfield, Robert Bonisolo,
Michael Rosen, Dario Faiella. 

Despite his young age he has been touring around Europe with different projects
(Maisemat, Hardrada 4tet, The Fabulous Beard, Daniel Buch Trio and 4tet). 

He is very active with the band “Maisemat” which just released their first album for Finnish
label Eclipse Music. 

He both plays in combos and Big Band settings. 

His performances are characterized by his musical personality and his artistic presence.
With Maisemat he won the contest “Jam The Future, Music for the planet” hosted by
JazzMI and Volvo in June 2019.
He is also the winner of the prize “Best Graduation 2016” at CDM in Rovereto, and the
“drummer’s scholarship” in Nuoro Jazz 2015.
